Built by an operator,
for operators of the Kingdom.
RedCord Media is a founder-led, AI-augmented studio for Christian creators. We exist because most agencies serving the Christian space fall into one of two camps — either they build for churches and don’t understand creators, or they understand creators and don’t share the faith. We’re built for the third lane.
Why “RedCord”.
The name comes from Joshua chapter 2 — the story of Rahab, the Jericho innkeeper who hid the Israelite spies and was promised that her household would be spared when judgment came on the city. The sign of the covenant was a scarlet cord tied in her window. When the Israelites came back, anyone inside the house with the red cord was protected.
The cord meant this house is marked. Not because of who lived there. Because of the promise tied to it.
That’s the idea behind RedCord. The work we do — for ministries, authors, missionaries, faith-driven entrepreneurs — is about marking the message that belongs to God. Not making it louder for the sake of being loud. Making it visible so the people it’s for can find it.
“...tie this scarlet cord in the window through which you let us down.”
A studio + a stack.
Most agencies sell hours. We sell outcomes. Cody leads strategy and account on every engagement. A small contractor bench handles design, video, and development when needed. And a proprietary AI production stack — built specifically for Christian creator workflows — powers the throughput that lets a small team punch at scale.
Practically, that means: an Engine client who would cost $8K–$12K/month at a traditional agency runs at $2.5K–$5K with us. Without sacrificing taste, voice, or review quality. Cody touches every batch before it ships.
We’re not trying to be the biggest agency in the Christian space. We’re trying to be the most useful studio for the next generation of Kingdom creators.
“A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
The verse is about the strength that comes when two work in covenant together with God as the third strand. That’s how we think about every client engagement. You bring the calling. We bring the craft. The Spirit binds the work.
Cody Persell
Founding partner of RedCord Publishing. Founder of Together in Battle deliverance ministry. Operator of multiple businesses across publishing, real estate investment, and home services. Married to Amy. Based in Kansas City.
Cody started building businesses early — and built them in parallel. House Guys USA in residential services. Aspen Funds consulting in real estate investment. Together in Battle as a deliverance ministry serving people in spiritual warfare. The Scroll as a Christian media property. RedCord Publishing as a boutique Christian press.
What he kept noticing was that the same playbook worked across all of them: clear story, intentional stage, sustainable stewardship. Every venture grew when the three strands were tight. Every venture stalled when one was missing.
RedCord Media is the agency he wishes he’d had access to fifteen years ago — but built for the AI era, where one operator with the right stack can deliver work that used to require a twenty-person agency.
What you’ll get from working with Cody: direct access to the founder, fast decisions, the taste of someone who’s built five businesses, and the conviction of someone who actually believes the gospel he’s helping you reach more people with.
